A first attempt with making a 3-dimension Clays. Kind of tough… any suggestion for improvement?

Here Mrs Clay is feeling deeply unbalanced: she got to cook, mop, wash and yes, work! Mr Clay on the other hand, has much less to juggle. Sometimes, with appreciation that pours out from the heart, the workload can be the same but love balances it all.

1 Corinthians 13:4. ‘Love suffers long, and is kind;..’

Mr Froggie may be busy climbing the corporate ladder, but he really hopes to get out of his job and most of all, to find his mate and have a froggie kiddo.

Commit our hopes to the Lord, someone got to tell Mr Froggie that!

Mr Sloop loves Charlie Clay and Charlie always go to him for advice. Poor Charlie is getting the stress & anxiety from the new school term and Mr Sloop loves to offer philosphical advices.. that usually falls flat in more than one way!

Putting our faith in Jesus is the only way!

The Clay is being molded everyday.. to have more faith, hope and love.

1 Corinthian 13:13: but now abide faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.

Feeling lost because my new job requires frequent traveling that has kept me away from church on sunday and fellowship on friday.. wanted to re-establish my quiet time, bible study and of course, cartoon devotional. I listened to my worship CD in the hotel room and it was playing ‘.. I’m desperate for You, so lost without You..’

So Viola, here’s Mr Clay being lost, with so many paths to take but take heart in Luke 19:1-10: And Jesus said to him, ‘Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man came to seek and to save the lost’

This cartoon is inspired by the following verses:

Deuteronomy 7:6 ‘For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treaure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.’

The Lord is amazing in His love, cos everyone of us is special and loved by Him.

Psalm 145:9 ‘The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.’

But that’s true cos the Holy Spirit is given to all who believe and Jesus died for these people!

John 16:7 ‘Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.’

One day, it just occured to me that the sun rising everyday is part of God’s grace… cos changing people takes time… and everyday is a chance for us to spread the gospel, to learn to worship Him with our heart.. and of course, learning to surrender.
