Christian Calendar 2009
I designed this with the hope that it can be an encouragement to people in 2009 (particularly with the crisis).
The theme is HOPE, with yellow color scheme on the cover and colors indicating different seasons on the back.
The verse is Psalm 31: 24 ‘Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.’
The verse is in English and Chinese and dimension is that of business card size.

I designed 7 bookmarks with Swahili bible verse, to bless the people who speak Swahili.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
This design is with hearts made up into shape of flower, with warm orange colors.
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
This design is kites with cross, reaching up towards ‘heaven’.
John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
This design shows sheep coming together.
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
This design is with eagles rising up from darkness to light.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
This organic shape circles like thought bubbles!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
This design is of leaves with heart shapes, growing up signifying everlasting life.
Jeremiah 33:3
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
This one shows strong and warm colors, mighty and flowing.
