Came across this illustration that Roumieu did, really tells it all doesn’t it whenever we think of job hopping.. I haven’t been updating this blog regularly for the past 2.5 months and reason is I haven’t found a regular theme to post. Work is busy and life is getting complicated but God is good all the time. I am reminded of this image from one church bulletin news about 2 years ago, about how one should move in flight with God/ church to create a synergy among the things in our life. The first thing in life is growing intimately with God through prayer. I am going to start gathering clues on what my regular theme ought to be from PRAYER. It’s a fish!
Suddenly thought of a gold fish and thanks to N-Design’s tutorial, managed to do some cool waves. But first a bible verse on being hooked on love; Song of Solomon 4:10 Designer’s Adobe Illustrator tool: Lots of blend tool! Was just thinking of a cartoon to illustrate the point of bad rebranding and rebonding i.e. straightening the hair just popped up in my head. It just reminded me of a lady
When the Rebonding trend came, she went for it. Not bothering that her hair was too short nor that a face was just a little too round. Turned out a pure disaster which stayed on people’s mind for years.
You know, she could have looked so much better with this look but she didn’t listen to the right ”rebranding” stylists… This is the first of a series of designs (I hope and I try) featuring ”love” in the bible. Why from the bible? Mainly I had the idea to design love/heart but would require a context to draw it and the bible is a convenient source (right beside my bed and available online, which saves me the trouble of looking for love proses). Here comes the first design:
inspired from Genesis 22:2 Artist’s (if I may call myself one on my own blog) note: Abraham, who was a hundred years old when his only son was born (he wanted kids and wanted one for that long), had a son as promised by God but then after a few years God asked him to burn his son as an offering (in the end, God did not require him to). I imagined that his heart must have sunk and felt unsettled. Small, holding onto the love of God and obedience, he must had felt the world taking his life away… hence, the design above. Design’s tools: Gradient, reflect, pathfinder, pen, chalk brush |
