This is the first of a series of designs (I hope and I try) featuring ”love” in the bible. Why from the bible? Mainly I had the idea to design love/heart but would require a context to draw it and the bible is a convenient source (right beside my bed and available online, which saves me the trouble of looking for love proses).
Here comes the first design:

inspired from Genesis 22:2
He said, “Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you.”
Artist’s (if I may call myself one on my own blog) note:
Abraham, who was a hundred years old when his only son was born (he wanted kids and wanted one for that long), had a son as promised by God but then after a few years God asked him to burn his son as an offering (in the end, God did not require him to).
I imagined that his heart must have sunk and felt unsettled. Small, holding onto the love of God and obedience, he must had felt the world taking his life away… hence, the design above.
