This is one book that is definitely worth reading. Yancey sets out to explore the question that many christians ask when faced with problems in life – Where is God?
From drawing from the Old Testament, New Testament and esp from the book of Job, Yancey explores God’s view and our view. This book does not give what is required to obtain through faith, but it offers excellent perspectives as we journey in faith.

Later as it ventured into how grace/ungrace affects the political/ national issues, it becomes quite tiring to read. Overall, a good overview and review of the issue of grace but I’d say with less impact than Yancey’s other book ”Disappointment with God”. [...]
