1. Rectangle, Star and Ellipse tools
2. Stroke and Fill
3. Color swatch, Gradient swatch (Radial), including the gradient sliders (use 2 shades of blue for the background; adjust the gradient sliders for the effect you want)
4. Pencil tool
5. Brush stroke (Appearance pallette)
