So far, I have concentrated on my bible storytelling skills, i.e. am I engaging the audience? did I get the bible message across? did i speak too fast?
But today, the Lord has a surprise for me – I got a special message when preparing to tell the book of Ruth & this was most unexpected.
Unexpected because 1) the preparation was done on short notice as another lady fell ill and 2) I had already read Ruth thoroughly the week before when I gave an overview of the book.
Here’s the message: I’m called to make a sacrifice for my husband. This sealed the messages that I’ve been getting for this week to make that sacrifice, something which I’ve resisted for the past year.
As I let him know my willingness to change my plan to support & love him, lots of tension dissipated from our relationship & we felt more assured that the Lord will guide & support us.
An unexpected blessing.
