The Pain of No Back-up : Chance for BibleStory Makeover?

About 2 Weeks ago, I lost my thumb drive and all the bible stories that I had written were in it; and yes, with no back-up.

During this time, I stopped working on the bible story as (i) my full-time job was getting demanding and (ii) I wonder if I should change the layout of the bible story. Should I incorporate cartoons? And if yes, what should the cartoon look like? Should I start creating a theme character (cos I like Charles Schulz’s Charlie Brown)? Am I trying to wear a hat too big for myself by trying to be an artist and an author at the same time when I have no experience in both?

I haven’t got the answers yet; and for someone who likes to get things done right the first time, I guess it will be a growing process for me cos drawing & writing do not seem to be something that can be completed without some rework. I haven’t got a clue but I will hold on to this verse that comes to me about just after I lost the thumb drive.
Jeremiah 29:11 ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’
