This session was good! I managed to deliver an animated, fun and enjoyable session on Judges 3. Based on this improvement and advice from others, here’re a few tips!
1. Break the ice between the audience and you – I find that this makes me more relaxed and easier to establish contact with the audience later. You will be surprised that psychologically, the eye contact that once seemed distant became close!
2. Talk slowly – A very common problem, takes practice to pace the story well.
3. Relate to daily life – Seemed to help tremendously
4. Exaggerate the voice tones & body movements – It is the same message made more animated.
5. Do not forget this – Bible is real. Always tie it to the setting then and incorporate a lesson learnt or key message
