The post on My First Bible Story didn’t quite capture the full layout of the e-book in pdf. My initial plan was to have (i) English biblestory with an image related to the theme done up using illustrator, (ii) Chinese version (iii) Learn Bible and Chinese section and (iv) Verse memory section. However, somehow I feel that it isn’t quite me or rather too much of the me which is systematic and hence, I kind of felt ‘dull-ed’ when I review the layout. Well, any feedback?

The illustrations look very serious, not suitable for children in my opinion. The biblestories are fine but why not go for one which has lively illustrations for your kids?
In the beginning, the earth was empty and dark. God said, ‘Let there be light’ and light there was! Light became the Day and darkness the Night and that was the first day. On the second day, God created the sky. On the third day, God created the dry land and the seas. He also created different kinds of vegetation and fruits.
Then God created two great lights, one for the day and one for the night. These two lights were signs for days, years and seasons. God also made stars and all these were completed on the fourth day. On the fifth day, God created different kinds of living creatures in water and in the sky. On the sixth day, God created living creatures on land and also made Man in His image. Man was to rule all the living creatures on earth and the vegetation and fruits were food for all.
God was happy with His creation and rested on the seventh day.

Good coverage of the bible and suitable for older children who do not rely on the illustrations (which seemed a little ’serious’ to me).
The illustration is very lively and suitable for kids. Good for parents who do not mind not having a comprehensive list of bible stories as there are only about 20 in this book.
