For this blog and my bible story site, I wanted to do some logos. And I only heard of Adobe Illustrator (and not even heard of the terms bitmap images and vector graphics), so I decided to try to learn.. on my own. (I had, very long ago, attended freehand and photoshop classes, but was so lost that I learnt nothing at the end of the very expensive design class.)
To date, the following are my designs and I will post how I got to doing this from a complete dummy (and no, I did not read the Dummy series).

bitmap is used by photoshop and resolution dependent; vector is used by adobe illustrator and resolution independent. Meaning, no matter how big or small, the images will not be blurred versus pixels.
