Easy Exercises

All exercises need to be done regularly to be effective. From what I have read, strength training ought to be alternated with higher intensity aerobic exercise throughout the whole week, with maybe one rest day.

A good guide to fitness that includes performing your own fitness assessment and exercises to do at home. ACSM recommends aerobic exercise to be carried out five times to reduce fat.

Exercises recommended may be a bit simple for some, but the whole point is to start exercising!

Erika Dillman – The Little Strength Training Book

A good book to get started on basic strength training exercises. First of all, it can be read within an hour and that leaves you with more time (and less excuses) to get started. The book covers exercises using body weight, dumbbells and a combination of both.
